Persatuan Pelaut Kitani (PPK) is an association, comprises of professionals from the maritime sector, seafarers, industry experts, and passionate advocates for the advancement of Brunei's maritime heritage.
Our mission is to serve as a dedicated hub for local Bruneian seafarers, fostering growth, unity, and excellence within the maritime community.

Our logo encapsulates the essence of Brunei's identity, featuring the distinctive yellow and black arched stripes against a white backdrop, echoing the colors of the Brunei Flag. The canopy shape symbolizes our role as a home for seafarers and vessels, while the compass face serves as a powerful visual metaphor for direction and guidance.
The colors and symbols in our emblem hold deep significance:
Orange/Yellow represents the sun, guiding seafarers through celestial navigation and aiding in prayer times for Muslim seafarers.
Blue symbolizes the sea, the lifeblood of the maritime community and the source of livelihood for our seafarers.
The Helm Rudder signifies the local seafarers’ role in steering the nation towards upholding the principles of Malay Islamic Monarchy, empowering maritime legislation, and advancing Brunei's proud maritime history.
The Anchor stands as a universal symbol for seafarers worldwide, marking Brunei's growing influence and recognition in global maritime affairs.
The Compass Rose represents the essential tool for navigating the world's oceans, with its four-point bearings symbolizing our commitment to navigating the seas and determining prayer direction with precision.
Our association’s grey/black font reflects the seriousness and dedication with which we approach our work, while our symbol, together, tells the story of Brunei's maritime legacy and its future course.
